WARRENS, Wis. – Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer Donald Driver is teaming up with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism to appear in a TV commercial promoting travel to the Badger state. Filmed today in Warrens, Wis., the TV spot is part of a larger marketing campaign that includes radio, print and digital advertising and airs next summer and fall in select Midwest markets.

“We’re thrilled to bring Donald Driver home to Wisconsin. His winning personality and signature smile perfectly captures Wisconsin’s brand of fun,” said Tourism Secretary Stephanie Klett. “We look forward to debuting the ad to the tourism industry at our annual conference in March.”

No stranger to TV since retiring from the NFL, the former wide receiver scored even more fans across the country by winning season 14 of “Dancing with the Stars.” However, the opportunity to star in next summer’s commercial is one that brings sentimental value for Driver.

“I’m excited to be a part of this Wisconsin tourism ad. I have a special place in my heart for Wisconsin. I’m always welcomed back with open arms and now it’s my chance to welcome people to visit,” said Driver.
