Experience the Feeling of Gemütlichkeit At These Wisconsin Summer Events

Posted on: 3/27/2018

MADISON, Wis. – It’s no surprise that Wisconsinites find any excuse to celebrate, and judging by our line-up of spring and summer events, there’s no shortage of celebrations.

Wisconsin’s playful and spirited nature can be found in everything from our fairs and festivals to the way we greet our friends and family. We call it Gemütlichkeit, the feeling of “friendship, warmth, good cheer and belonging.” In other words, the feeling you get when you’re in Wisconsin.

Find the Gemütlichkeit spirit in events like the World’s Largest Brat Fest in Madison, Pulaski Polka Days and the Indian Summer Festival in Milwaukee. Wine lovers rejoice for the new Vino Fest in Tomah. To join in on what Wisconsinites do best, don’t miss Libations of Spring in Kohler; Beer, Bacon and Cheese in New Glarus; and the Ellsworth Cheese Curd Festival.

With such an impressive line-up of events, there’s no shortage of Gemütlichkeit in Wisconsin this season.

Please note that event changes may occur. We encourage the media to double-check dates and contact information before going to print or posting online.
