Being away from work can be a sacrifice, especially when you’re in the 24/7, 365 tourism industry. We promise these conferences are worth your while.
Wisconsin Governor's Conference on Tourism (WIGCOT)
This three day event, hosted by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, is an educational, motivational and fun way to charge your batteries for the tourism work ahead.
Join us for a Virtual WIGCOT 2021
The opportunity to host in-person meetings continues to be delayed due to the pandemic. When we rescheduled the 2020 Wisconsin Governor’s Conference on Tourism to this year, we were hopeful that by March, we would once again be able to see you in person. Regrettably, we will have to wait another year before we can all meet under one roof.
In the meantime, we have re-imagined WIGCOT 2021 as a series of virtual programs and we’re excited about what’s in store! Starting on Tuesday, March 16 and continuing through early May, we will present four ½-day programs that will include updates on our work at the Department, along with inspirational and informative programs. From deep dives into research, marketing, and public relations to discussions of arts, culture, outdoor recreation and inclusion efforts, the agendas are built to set you up with fresh ideas and renewed energy as we collectively work on recovery.
Please visit our website for additional information on programming, sponsors and exhibitors, online registration and future program dates.
