Dave joined the Department of Tourism in January, 2011 after working seven years as vice president of public relations for VISIT Milwaukee.  At VISIT, Dave was the creator of the bronze Fonz statue, which graces the Milwaukee RiverWalk. The project was the recipient of the highest public relations award honors from such industry organizations as the Society of American Travel Writers, U.S. Travel Association and the Wisconsin Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus. Dave is also a founding member of Film Wisconsin, the non-profit organization charged with promoting the state for film, television and video gaming projects. Dave moved to the Badger State in 1988 from his native Minnesota thanks to his Wisconsin bride. He and his wife, Cathy, have three “almost” adult children. He holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Minnesota.

Jeri joined the Office of the Secretary to coordinate appearances throughout the state for the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Tourism; and the Executive Director of Arts Board. Outside the office, you can find her painting, wandering around local art galleries, checking out plays in Spring Green or shrieking like a maniac at the Badger football games.

Lisa describes her job as telling Wisconsin's travel story to the media and anyone else who will listen.  She spreads the word about Wisconsin’s great travel experiences on morning TV talk shows and radio programs, during press trips and through deskside visits.  In 10 years at Tourism, she's been to 55 of the state's 72 counties.  What is her "holy grail" of media releations?  A travel story in the New York Times.

Every team needs a solid utility infielder – that’s Will.  He handles bulk publication distribution to chambers and CVBs.  He’s our go-to guy in literature fulfillment, inventory and the 800-call center operation.  He’s computer savvy and the back up to systems operation.  Most recently, he’s become the back up to Dawn and the annual tourism conference.
