The Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s Extranet database is our sole source of Wisconsin’s tourism product – it is the hub of the wheel. And, it's free!
Once your information is entered in the Extranet database, the Wisconsin Department of Tourism can assist in promoting your area through:

- our publications
- our Customer Service line at 800-432-TRIP
- our Radio spots (70+ radio stations)
- our PR staff
- our Advertising Agency
- any other special promotions
Our Extranet Partners are local tourism organizations, Chambers, Convention & Visitor Bureau’s, Statewide tourism organizations, Performing Arts Venues and Museums who have partnered with us and have access to enter and maintain data directly in our Extranet database. Not an Extranet Partner yet - just contact Linda and she can get you set up. We ask that if you partner with us, you commit to maintaining your information so we can ensure we are providing accurate information to the traveling public.
So, check out our website, see if your listed. If your record needs to be updated, enhanced with photos, etc,. contact the partner who provided the information, located under the "Submitted by". If you are not listed, fill out a form found under Extranet Documents and either e-mail to your local Chamber or send to our office at tourinfo@travelwisconsin.com
Events and Travel Items must be tourism related, drawing travelers from other areas to yours and generating revenue in your area and open to the general public. Opportunities that a leisure traveler from within our state or out of state may be interested in.
